Urgh. Pain.

I have realized something recently, something very important. It is, quite simply, this: after not doing any sort of hard exercise for about three months, do not, do not, do not try to get back into it with your weightlifting junkie cousin. You will find yourself doing 40 pull-ups, a bunch of bench presses, and other various exercising activities, as I did. And then you will wake up the next morning, barely able to push yourself up and out of bed, 'cause your arms, chest, back and shoulders hurt like fucking hell.

I did not realize just exactly how many muscles move during the simple act of walking. I think I can count them all now, by each ache and pain I get when I step. I can no longer raise my arms above my head without extreme pain. Methinks, perhaps, I overdid it. But...when I stop hurting, finally--hopefully by the end of this week--I will be just a little bit stronger. Just a bit. And then I'll go do it again. I'm stubborn that way. Or stupid. Exercise is fun!

In other news, the relatives came, and the relatives went, leaving some measure of insanity in their wake. This was exacerbated by my attempt to drive myself to distraction, analyzing something that had been presented to me. Something presented to me by someone who didn't actually know what the hell they were talking about, which I figured out two days later. Thanks, Jeff. So, all in all, a fairly normal weekend.

I'm back to work tomorrow, to pay off the comics and Heroclix I will inevitably buy on Wednesday. Well, comics anyway. I'm debating not even touching the Heroclix--there's really no point to it anymore. I don't play anymore, and there's not much in this set I really wanna collect. I dunno, depends on how much money I really have.

That's all I have to say. Now, go away. (Not permanently, mind. Oooh! I rhymed.)

...O Wise Cackler, have you ever put much thought to the fact that a Master that references rubber bands can't be very ancient?
